The engineered, screwed case of 98-102 grams of yellow, rose or white gold is not casted but cut from a block of solid gold of 650 gram. It has a highly sophisticated inner case that absorbs shock. The movement is held within the case with two flanges. Tolerance part is of +/- 0.02 mm.
The plunger is screwed into the buckle and thus always available.
Both the dial and the back of the watch are protected by scratch free Sapphire crystal.
The case are all engraved with official hallmarks. Being one of the worldwide limited edition of only 20 pieces it is rare as well this haute-horologerie masterpiece with a Tourbillon mechanical movement or Tourbillon Retrograde Date Mechanical Movement.
It’s high price is attributable to the complexity of the tourbillon mechanism, which is created with specialized tooling, within extremely tight mechanical tolerances. Crafting a tourbillon requires more parts and time than in other movements. Dedicated tools and machinery as well as special lightweight and durable metals were required to manufacture your Alpha Nova Tourbillon.
